Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account (name, email address, company name), and the content you add to Orka (interaction logs, entity records, tasks). We also collect basic usage data such as feature usage patterns and session information to improve the product.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Orka service. Your interaction logs and entity data are used to generate AI summaries, task suggestions, and relationship timelines within your workspace. We do not sell your data or use it to train external AI models.
Orka uses the Anthropic Claude API to parse interaction logs and generate structured data. Your content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy. We do not store your content on Anthropic's servers beyond the duration of the API call.
Your data is stored securely using Appwrite's managed infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Workspace data is logically isolated — no other tenant can access your data.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing hello@orka.so.
We do not share your data with third parties except for the infrastructure providers required to run the service (Appwrite for data storage, Anthropic for AI processing). We may disclose data if required by law, but we will notify you when legally permitted to do so.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export all your interaction logs and entity records from your workspace settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@orka.so.
We use a single session cookie (orka-session) to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of Orka after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
